- Nothing other than that (a) it makes a good demonstration of
- multitasking and (b) sometimes it can actually come in handy.

- Example: you're online, doing stuff, perhaps in a chat, as I often
- am. A friend comes over. He asks you for a copy of some program
- you're using and hands you a floppy. On an Amiga, you pop in the
- floppy, format it, copy the program to it, eject the disk and hand
- it backto him, all the while your online activities have not
- stopped one bit (chatting, downloading, whatever) and you can merrily
- flip screens between your term program, TCP clients, shell window,
- other programs, whatever.

- Try that on a Mac, Jack. Fire up ZTerm and get online and go
- to, say IRC, and start yakking. Then shove in an unformatted
- floppy disk and format it and copy a program to it and watch
- what happens to your terminal session.
